Los Angeles Singles Have a New Way to Meet – OFF THE COMPUTER!!!
Highlife Adventures Makes Los Angeles Debut -- Celebrates With Grand
Opening Soiree July 16th at The Kress
July 2010 – (Los Angeles) Los Angeles singles have a new way to meet and have fun with the grand opening of Highlife Adventures, an outdoor adventure and social networking concierge for singles.
The 4,000-member Chicago-based club will throw a Grand Opening Soiree
at The Kress, a new club of unique
and innovative style at 6608
Hollywood Blvd., Los Angeles, at 7 p.m on Friday, July 16. Los Angeles
singles are invited to attend and be introduced to current members of
Highlife Adventures of Los Angeles, a celebrity comedian emcee, and a
new, healthier way to meet singles with similar interests in person,
instead of online.
Kayaking, sky diving, hot air ballooning, wind surfing and horseback
riding are all a part of the Highlife Adventures social calendar, and
the club also finds and organizes urban diversions such as parties,
comedy clubs, gourmet adventures and movie nights. “Yes, everyone is
single, but there isn’t that crazy
“dating scene” pressure,” said
Mary Vallone, president and co-owner of Highlife Adventures. “California
is a great fit for Highlife because we attract a very active clientele
who are focused on getting the most out of life. If that doesn’t
describe Californians, then I don’t know what does!”
Vallone founded Highlife Adventures in Chicago in 1996, because as a
newcomer to that city, she found that it was easy to join one club and
do the same activity all the time, such as volleyball or tennis, but it
was actually very difficult to meet people with similar interests to do
varied activities all the time. With that need in mind, Highlife
Adventures was born. After 14 years, that club has grown to more than
4,000 members and many of its members have “accidentally” found their
true love and gotten married
because of the club.
The club screens all prospective members before acceptance into the
club which makes it an environment where people attending have more in
common with each other, as everyone is single,
responsible and
looking to make more friends and have more fun.
Highlife Adventures
may be a newcomer to Los Angeles, but it is already in the LA spotlight,
as the Highlife Adventures office will be featured in a new television
reality show that begins taping this
Saturday.
